Dear judgmental Christians

I'm a Christian as well, a straight Christian... I am fine with the LBGT community; before you start freaking out and quoting the Bible at me, I wish to ask: Why do you guys do that?  Do you guys actually think that you have the right to condemn people because they fall out of our religious beliefs? Do you think that you have the right to judge people?  You don't...you really don't.  I'm sure you feel that because you're a Christian, you're more holier than non Christians, why you think that I'll never know.  We're all human you know.  Why not learn to love everyone and embrace the differences of people.  You sin just as much as everyone else in the world, just because it's not the same sin doesn't mean that you're less sinful.

I listen to various types of music...I don't just strictly listen to gospel, I'm more of a jack of all trades.  I listen to everything in a lot of languages (Excluding screamo and metal...a bit hard core for my tastes (I do listen to Maximum the Hormone though...that's the most hard core I'll get)).  I remember when I was in high school, I told people that at the time I listened to Gothic music.  I was deemed an evil person and a devil worshiper from other Christians because of this.  The ironic thing about it is, most of them listened to rap music...How is listening to music that degrades women and talks about shooting up people (Most rap music nowadays revolves around this), more Christian than listening to Evanescence?  It doesn't...I mean I can understand if they listened to nothing but Christian music, then okay, I'll submit to the judging (I wouldn't be happy to it, but at least I'd feel that they have the right to preach to me).

I'm friends with people of different religions. I have friends that are even Muslim; I don't think they are going to try to kill me or blow me up or anything like that.  Some of my best friends don't even believe in God...and I'm fine with that.  I don't judge them or tell them they are going to hell, you know what I do?  I PRAY for them.  It's really not that hard.

If we ban together and slowly start turning non judgmental and more loving, perhaps we wouldn't be bashed and destroyed by other religions.

Love one another, not hate.  Even Jesus says to love everyone and not to judge...Why is that the one scripture people don't quote to people?  Is it because they want to feel superior.  Don't worry about feeling superior, you'll never be the best, there is still God and Jesus that will always be better than we are.  You don't have to be okay with what someone does or how they live, but you can still be humble.
